If you are like me living in Northwestern Ontario, our reaction to the Spring To Do List suggestions, that show up everywhere, is a little chuckle. While we can’t yet pull out the yard furniture, turn on the hose, freshen the paint of our front step due to our sub zero temperatures, we can use those grey days to do some inside spring cleaning. It’s amazing how good it can feel. Give the plants a shower – to dust them off, pull the dust bunnies out from under the beds and behind the dressers, clean the curtains, and wash down the walls, ceilings and floors. Empty out drawers and closets, throw out old things – do a little purge and return the things you use to an orderly organized state. Getting the inside cleanse done will give you a sense of renewal, a sense that spring has arrived.
